Scenic Eclipse itinerary highlights
With such a high standard of luxury onboard, it’s understandable some guests might choose not to leave the haven of the ship. However, Scenic has also curated the perfect itinerary to make the most of every port and location. Many itineraries, including the French Riviera & the Catalan Coastline voyage, also include a late-night departure from Saint Tropez, so guests can get a genuine feel for the nightlife in this legendary European resort port.
1. Take a helicopter ride along the Italian Coastline
One of Scenic’s most incredible advantages is its flightseeing experience in the ultra-luxury Airbus H130-T2 helicopter with panoramic, wrap-around windows. Soar high up above the Tyrrhenian Sea, fragile archipelagos, hidden coves, rich sapphire blue water to take in Italian fishing villages teetering on the edge of the cliffs below, pastel-coloured villas coated in purple bougainvillea.
This exclusive flightseeing experience can be added to the Italian Icons: Islands & Culture itinerary, which takes in Sorrento, Capri and Monte Carlo, as well as historic sights like Pompeii.
Make sure you match the criteria before booking this optional extra, with an additional cost.
2. Watch the iconic Monaco Grand Prix
Cruising with Scenic gives you exclusive access to some of Europe’s most prestigious events, including the iconic Monaco Grand Prix. Scenic gets you front and centre to the excitement, with Scenic Eclipse moored among the greatest super yachts of the French Riviera in Monaco Harbour during the world-famous event as part of their five-day Portofino to Monaco during the Grand Prix itinerary. Departing from Nice and including two nights in the thick of the F1 celebrations, the departure also visits the Italian port of Portofino.
3. Spend the night at St Tropez
What could be better than having plenty of time to soak in the high standard of luxury onboard, and also make the most of every port and location?
Itineraries like the French Riviera & the Catalan Coastline voyage, which visits Collioure, Sanary-sur-Mer and Cannes, also include a late-night departure from Saint Tropez, so guests can get a genuine feel for the nightlife in this legendary European resort port.
4. Join cooking classes along Spain’s coast
Get ready to cook up a storm during one of Scenic’s hands-on cooking classes. Every element of your six-star journey with Scenic is designed to elevate your Mediterranean experience. That includes the Scenic Freechoice programs, offering an all-included, handpicked selection of activities and experiences to enrich your time abroad.
On Scenic’s Mediterranean Escapade: Spain & the French Riviera tour, take a series of cooking classes on a voyage that takes you from Costa Brava in Spain to Calvi in Corsica, finishing with the glamorous port of Monte Carlos.
